Sunday School

Sunday School

Sunday School is the primary small group gathering for biblical instruction in the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church educational system, after the large group gathering under expository preaching during Worship. Sunday School classes are available for all ages and begin at 8:30 a.m. each Sunday. Specific class locations and materials are available on site.

Sunday School is designed with the goals of developing fruitful servants of Christ, building greater community among those who attend, and helping unbelievers understand the Gospel (and thereby bringing them to saving faith in Jesus Christ). Each class focuses on the Bible itself, often using materials that supplement and comment on it. We encourage and welcome you and your family to participate in these small group opportunities, to build relationships with other members of the church body while growing in your knowledge of the Word together.

Children

The foundation for our children's materials comes from the Children Desiring God Ministries associated with Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Desiring God Ministries. These classes include biblical teachings, music, Scripture memorization and other activities associated with the day's lesson.

The children's department includes an Infant Nursery, a class for Toddlers, and various age-appropriate classes for those in elementary or middle school, or the home-school equivalent ages. These classes endeavor to help children come to an initial confession of faith in Jesus Christ, and to learn the beginning catechism of the Christian faith.

Teens

A 9th - 12th Grade Teens class is available for those in middle school or high school, or in the home-school equivalent ages. This class endeavors to help students strengthen their initial confession of faith in Jesus Christ, and to learn how to connect deeper theological and biblical truths to a time of personal transition into adulthood.

College & Career

A College and Career class is geared for those who have graduated from high school and are now in college, or for either single or married adults just beginning their post-education life. This class endeavors to help young adults navigate a culture that is, in many ways, hostile to Christianity by providing in-depth biblical and theological training that will undergird their trust in Christ, and help them remain faithful as they begin a new phase of life.

Adult I

This Adult class is taught by Elder Allan Long. It focuses on the systematic teaching of a book of Scripture, or another resource focused on the Bible, using relevant study materials and commentaries.

Adult II

This Adult class is taught by Elders Les Creamer and Wayne Gruenloh. It focuses on the systematic teaching of a book of Scripture, or another resource focused on the Bible, using relevant study materials and commentaries.
